Obituary of Eldridge H. Lore

Eldridge “Jim” Lore, Jr., 76, of Bridgeton died on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland.

 

Born in Bridgeton to the late Eldridge H. Lore, Sr. and Dorothy Lupton Lore, he was the husband of Judith Garrison Lore. Jim had been a resident of Bridgeton most of his life.

 

Prior to his retirement, he had been an electrician at South Woods State Prison, Bayside Correctional Facility and a self employed electrician for hire for many years. Jim had been a very active and dedicated member of AA in Cumberland County. He was also an active member and greeter at West Park United Methodist Church in Hopewell Twp.

 

In addition to his wife, Judith, he is survived by a son, James E. Lore; a daughter, Beverley Lore; five sisters, Evelyn Christiano, Jean, Dolores Pringle, Juanita Abbott and Deborah Campbell; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lore and a brother, Joseph Lore.

 

Memorial services will be held at West Park United Methodist Church, 625 Shiloh Pike, Hopewell Twp. on Saturday, October 14th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers the family asks the contributions in Jim’s memory be made to the West Park United Methodist Church Building Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
