Obituary of Winfield Scott Brown

Winfield Scott Brown, 67, of Vineland died on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his home.

Born in Salem to the late Edward C. Brown and Janice Holliday Brown, he was the husband of Sarah Ritchie Brown. Winfield had been a resident of Vineland for the past 10 years and prior to that he had resided in Bridgeton.

Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Owens Illinois Glass Co. and Kimble Glass Co. for 46 years. In his free time, Winfield enjoyed fishing and watching western movies. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by; his wife, Sarah Brown of Vineland; two daughters, Sarah Shaffer of Bridgeton and Tanya Escobar of Bridgeton; two sons, Winfield Scott Brown, Jr. of Vineland and Chad Brown of Vineland; a brother, Edward Todd Brown of Alloway; two sisters, Joy Covey of Cedarville and Gay Brown of Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, September 8th at 11 AM.
