Ralph H. Wood, 84, of Bridgeton passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland.

 

Born in Bridgeton to the late Charles Wood and Ethel Strang Wood, he was the husband of the late Christine Justice Wood. Ralph had been a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area.

 

Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a supervisor at Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. serving during the Korean Confict. In his free time he was an avid golfer.

 

He is survived by; three daughters, Sunny Klampfer of Fairton, Donna Syring of Frederick, MD and Diane-Wood Ames of Hopewell Twp.; a sister, Eleanor Bailey of Woodbury Heights; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by; a daughter, Denise DeLuke; three brothers, Charles, George and Alfred and four sisters, Edith, Ethel, Elizabeth and Evelyn.

 

Graveside services will be held at Fernwood Memorial Park, 794 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton on Friday July 7th at 11 AM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
