Obituary of Titus Allen

Titus Allen, 33, of Fairfield Twp. died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden following a brief illness.

Born in Vineland to Leo Allen, Jr. and Rev. Maxine Allen, he was the long time companion of Brianna Matthews. Titus was a resident of Fairfield Twp. all of his life.

He was most recently employed at Premier Auto Group in Turnersville in the detailing dept. He had also worked for his uncle installing insulation and was a self employed auto mechanic and barber. Titus was a gifted bass guitar player and played at his mothers church Fruit of the Spirit Ministries in Bridgeton where he was a member. He loved listening to music and fishing in his free time.

He is survived by; his parents, Leo, Jr.and Rev. Maxine Allen of Fairfield Twp.; his long time companion, Brianna Matthews of Bridgeton; seven siblings, Ezra Dale of Florence, Leo Hoxey of Glassboro, Leona Allen of Millville, Alicia Cooper of DE, Anita Allen of Fairfield Twp., Leo Allen, III of Vineland and Tina Young of Pennsgrove; a son, Tyreke Whitaker-Allen and a host of other family members. Titus was preceded in death by a sister, Kieva Harris.

Funeral services will be held at Glory Tabernacle, 1018 Buckshutem Rd., Bridgeton on Tuesday, June 27th at 11AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
