Obituary of Nellie B. McCoy

Nellie B. McCoy, 75, of Upper Deerfield Township passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the home of her son under the care of Hospice and Family.

            The daughter of the late Ernest Tucker and Mahalie Lucas Tucker, she was born in Belle Glade, FL and was the wife of the late Ernest McCoy.  She had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Township for 52 years and had lived in Cedarville prior to that. 

            Before her retirement, Nellie had been employed with Seabrook Farms and Four Star Poultry.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Upper Deerfield Township and enjoyed gardening and raising chickens.

            She is survived by her son, Ernest L. McCoy, Sr. of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three daughters, Lois Kimble of Salem, Christina Renee McCoy of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Victoria McCoy of NC; a brother, Ernest Tucker; two sisters, Evelyn Harris and Dorothy Davis; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

            Graveside services will be held at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Township on Tuesday, June 13th at 11 AM.  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
