Obituary of Julie A. Rauschert

Julie A. Rauschert, 68, of Cedarville died on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Kennedy Hospice in Stratford following an extended illness.

 

            Born in Millville to the late William Cross and Mary Anne McComby Cross, she was the wife of Allen P. Rauscert. Julie moved to Cedarville in 1978 when she got married and resided there for the rest of her life.

 

            Prior to her retirement, Julie had worked at the Woodbine Developmental Center as an LPN for 21 years. She had been previously employed at Millville Hospital and the offices of Dr. Henderson and Dr. Wong. In her free time, she was a 4-H leader for the Range Riders and was an animal lover of especially dogs, birds and rabbits.

 

            Besides her husband, Allen, she is survived by three children, Paul Rauschert of Wildwood, Jennifer Battiata and her husband, Tory of of Cedarville and Jessica Dunigan and her husband, John of Millville; a sister, Robin Riley and her husband, Jim of Millville; a brother, Bill Cross and his wife, Connie of Millville; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler House; a granddaughter, Madison Rauschert and a step-daughter, Victoria Etter.

 

            Graveside services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville on Friday, May 12th at 12 noon where the interment will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Julie's memory to the National 4-H Council, P.O. Box 37560, Baltimore, MD 21297-3560.
