Brian Keith Gutenkunst, Sr., 48, passed on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Lyn (Maines) Gutenkunst, his son Brian Keith Gutenkunst Jr., his parents Rose and Dieter Gutenkunst, his brother David Gutenkunst, his sister Kristen Sadler, his grandmother Karoline Gutenkunst, his aunt, Reinhilde Knuppel (Wolfgang), his aunt Anna Shimp (Clark) and nephews Kirk Pierce, Darrian Gutenkunst, and niece Tori Gutenkunst and other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Ludwig Gutenkunst, his uncle John Gutenkunst and many other aunts and uncles. Brian was an over the road truck driver for Johnson Farms. Before that he worked for Pipco in Rosenhayn and nine years at Kane Steel. He enjoyed listening to heavy metal music, looking at old vintage cars and just being a home body. Friends and family are invited to come to the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 AM to 11 AM for visitation followed by memorial services at 11AM. Dress is casual. Jeans and rock Jerseys are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the American Heart Association in Brian’s memory.
