Obituary of Mary E. Capelli

Mary E. Capelli, 77, of Hopewell Twp. passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Paul McDowell and Elizabeth Lemke McDowell, she was the wife of the late John A. Capelli. Mary had lived in Hopewell Twp. for the past 53 years and prior to that she had been a resident of Cedarville. Prior to her retirement, Mary had been employed at several clothing companies in the area including Val Mode Lingerie and M.C. Schrank Co. in Bridgeton. In her free time, she enjoyed needle point, tatting and crocheting. She is survived by; four daughters, Theresa Rieti and her husband, Oreste J. Rieti, III of Upper Deerfield Twp., Karen Capelli of Hopewell Twp., Elizabeth Capelli of Cedarville and Dawn Loteck of Hopewell Twp.; four grandchildren, Joseph Henigan, Jessica Scythes, Ashley Loteck and Joshua Mead and a sister, Stella Shaffer of Bridgeton. Besides her husband, John, she was preceded in death by; seven brothers and sisters and a grandson, Dylan Mead. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3rd at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
