Obituary of Wilmer M. Dallett

Wilmer M. Dallett, 87, of Bridgeton died on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Genesis-Court House Center in Cape May Court House. Born in Vineland to the late Charles Dallett and Gertrude Williams Dallett, he was the husband of the late Lois Horner Dallett. Wilmer had been a resident of Bridgeton all of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a manager at the former A&P Super Market in Bridgeton for 35 Years. Following that he had worked for the Bridgeton Board of Education at Bridgeton High School for 10 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Korean Conflict. In his free time, Wilmer enjoyed baseball particularly the Philadelphia Phillies and building model cars. He is survived by his three children, Rodger Dallett of Bridgeton, Cheryl Repici and her husband, David of Cape May Court House and Gary Dallett and his wife, Debbie of Hammonton; six grandchildren, Chad Dallett (Cora), Jessica Dallett, Samantha Dallett, Lauren Repici, Taryn Repici and Kathryn Repici and a sister-in-law, Janet Gaunt of Sewell. Besides his wife, Lois, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Dallett. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, April 1st at 11 AM with the Rev. Gerald Fortanato, officiating. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
