Jessie R. Sipps, 86, of Cedarville died peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. Born in Newtown, PA to the late Ray Ransom and Elma Hankins Ransom, she was the wife of Harold J. Sipps. Jessie had been a resident of Cedarville most of her life. She was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1948 and had been employed for many years as secretary for Charles Patitucci Realty in Bridgeton. Through the years she enjoyed sending many cards to many people for all types of occasions, marking special events in their families. Jessie was also well known for baking pies. In addition to her husband Harold, she is survived by three children, Bonnie Franks of OH, Jon Franks of NC and Kim Anderson of Shiloh; a brother, Ralph Ransom of PA; a sister, Barbara White of FL; three stepsons, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Ransom. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Thursday, March 30th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
