Erik Scot Rose, Sr., 34, of Painesville, OH and formerly of Bridgeton died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 24, 2017. Erik was born in Bridgeton to Ernest “Fran” and Diane Rose. He had lived in Painesville, OH for the past 3 years but had been a resident of Cumberland County most of his life. Erik had worked as a handyman while living in the Painesville, OH area and had worked for his father's business, Rose Floor Covering in Deerfield Twp. He loved to work with his hands on woodworking projects especially picture frames and drawings. He was an avid fan of the Simpsons, enjoyed listening to music and occasionally playing the drums. He was also an amateur engineer, always looking for a more simple way to get a job done. He is survived by his parents, Ernest “Fran” and Diane Rose of Deerfield Twp., his brother, Jimmy Blair, Jr. of Bridgeton; two sons, Erik Scot Rose, Jr. and Adrian Pryor; his uncles, Richard Rose (Beth) of OH, Robert Rose (Robin) of DE and Cliff Green, Jr. (Cathleen) of FL and his grandmother, Frances West of FL. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Charlotte Green and Joan Rose and his grandfather, Clifford Green, Sr. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 4th at Fernwood Memorial Park, 794 Shiloh Pike, Hopewell Twp. at 11 AM.
