Obituary of Booker T. Sims

Booker T. Sims, Jr., 71, of Bridgeton died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Cumberland Manor. Born in Plains, GA, he was the son of the late Booker T. Sims and Annie Jean Burns Sims and had been a Bridgeton resident for the past 20 years. Prior to that he had resided in Cedarville and Millville. Booker had previously been employed with Wheaton Glass Company in Millville. He is survived by four daughters, Elaine McClendon-Stephens of Bridgeton, Denise Williams of Bridgeton, Lisa Sims-Byers of Fairfield Twp. and Sandra Sims-Patterson of Millville; 9 siblings, Annie Reid, Willie Mae Kent, Rose Wims-Stewart, Diane White, Brenda Lewis, Nelledy Williams-Hughes, John Williams, Jr., Lizzie Howell and Rita Scott, 12 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Marion Williams. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., NJ on Tuesday, February 28th at 12 Noon. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
