Joseph Bryant, 66, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Upper Deerfield Twp. to the late Kinzy Bryant and Alma Brown Bryant, he was the husband of Mattie Brown Bryant. He had resided with his wife Mattie in Seabrook for 32 years but had been living with his daughter, JoAnn for the past eight months. Joseph had lived in Upper Deerfield Twp. most of his life. Joseph was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. He had been employed as a truck driver for Bradway Trucking in Rosenhayn for 25 years. He is survived by; his wife, Mattie Bryant of Upper Deerfield Twp.; his daughter, JoAnn Atkins of Bridgeton; two step-daughters, Crystal Thomas of GA and Mattie Brown of TX; two step-sons, Roy L. Griffin of Bridgeton and Arthur Ramsey, III of DE; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Real Life Church, 111 North Laurel Street, Bridgeton on Friday, February 24th at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services.
