Obituary of Mark C. Gerard

Mark C. Gerard, 68, of Cedarville died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home. Mark was born in Woodbury to the late Edward A. Gerard, Sr. and Doris Walsh Gerard. He had been a resident of Lawrence Twp. most of his life. Prior to retirement, Mark had been employed with Airwork Corp. in Millville for 35 years as a welder. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving his country during the Vietnam Conflict. In his free time, Mark enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his two children, Elizabeth Ann Beach of MI and Mark C. Gerard, Jr. of Cedarville; a brother, Edward “Skip” Gerard, Jr. of Millville; a sister, Kathleen DeCastro of AZ and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street Cedarville on Tuesday, February 21st at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
