Obituary of Rose Ann Moats

Rose Ann Moats, 79, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Thursday evening, January 5, 2017 at her home. Born in Farmington, WV to the late Albert Sopuch and Jesse Wells Sopuch, she was the wife of Thomas Moats. Rose Ann had moved to Upper Deerfield Township in 1963 where she was a resident for the rest of her life. Rose Ann had been currently employed with the Cumberland County Board of Elections for over 10 years. She had also been previously employed at the former Dollar Store in Carll's Corner, Ames, Jamesway and Mr. Big's. She always joked that she closed all of the stores where she worked. In her free time, she enjoyed cleaning, flower gardening and reading her Bible. She was a member of Deerfield United Methodist Church in Upper Deerfield Twp. Rose Ann is survived by; her husband, Thomas Moats of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two children, Craig Moats of Woodstown and Bev Crackovich and her husband, Michael of Upper Deerfield Twp.; a granddaughter, Jessica Crackovich and her fiance, Brandon Baker; two brothers, Frank Sopuch of Alabama and Edward Reese and his wife, Debbie of Morgantown, WV; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Jennings of Michigan and Juanita Moats of WV; her aunt and uncle, Becky and Harry Sopuch of Cape May and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert “Bud” Sopuch. Memorial services will be held at Deerfield United Methodist Church, 1555 NJ-77, Deerfield, NJ 08313, on Tuesday, January 10th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Rose’s memory be made to either the Deerfield United Methodist Church, P.O.
