Carl E. Morgan, 57, of Fairfield Twp. died on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden following a brief illness. Born in Rocky Point, NC to the late George and Vernell Brown, he was the husband of Barbara Sharp Morgan. Carl was raised in Cedarville and had also lived in Millville before moving to Fairfield Twp. five months ago. He was currently employed at Leone Industries in Bridgeton. Carl had also worked for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville for over 10 years and Red Pack in Cedarville for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, listening to oldies music especially Brass Construction and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Fairfield Twp.; four daughters, Nakima Sharp, Eugena Morgan and Carla Morgan all of Bridgeton and Yolanda Morgan of Millville; four sons Phillip Street, Carl Morgan, Jr. and Raymond Sharp all of Bridgeton and Antione Sharp of Millville; 23 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Phillips and a sister-in-law, Annie Mae Kendricks. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp on Saturday, December 17th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
