Teresa Newman, 65 of Bridgeton died on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Lincoln Specialty Care in Vineland. Teresa was born in Lewisburg, W.VA to James N. Newman and Georgia Gardener Newman. She had lived in the Bridgeton area for most of her life. She loved listening to music and dancing. She was deeply loved by her family and could always be heard saying “Girl, you don’t know”. She loved scooter pies, which were her favorite treat. Besides her parents, James and Georgia Newman of Bridgeton, she is survived by a daughter, Tanya Day of SC; four sisters, Inez Newman of Fairfield Twp., Tina Rennie and her husband, Earl of Upper Deerfield Twp., Karla Grant and her husband, Devon of Philadelphia, PA and Gina Burrus of Upper Deerfield Twp. a brother, Lawrence Newman and his wife, Karen of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two grandchildren; a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, October 15th at 10 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
