Obituary of Edward C. LeMatty

Edward C. LeMatty, IV died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Edward was born in Bridgeton to Edward C. LeMatty, III and Mary Ann Rannels Dooley. He had been a resident of the Bridgeton area most of his life but had spent about eight years living in Millville. Edward had been currently employed with Partana Concrete in Swedesboro doing masonry work. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his girls and hanging out with his many friends. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed listening to Hip Hop music. Edward is survived by; his mother, Mary Ann Dooley of Bridgeton; his father, Edward LeMatty, III of Fairfield Twp.; his daughters, Alayna and Aubreonna LeMatty; the mother of his children, Laura Gilliard of Millville; his maternal grandparents, James and Margaret Rannels of Fairfield Twp.; his paternal grandmother, Virginia LeMatty of Fairfield Twp. and many uncles, aunts, cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Edward LeMatty, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, October 8th at 12 Noon. Interment will follow the services at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edward’s memory to the custodial savings accounts of his daughters, Alayna LeMatty and Aubreonna LeMatty through any local BB&T bank branch.
