Eleanor D. Miller, 68, of Elmer died on Saturday evening, July 23, 2016 at her home under the care of Hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Henry Jones and Eleanor Tilton Jones, she was the wife of the late Leon G. Miller, Sr. Eleanor had been an Elmer resident for over 20 years but prior to that she had lived in Shiloh. Before her retirement, she had worked as a nurse’s aide at the Cumberland Manor for over 43 years. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting blankets. She is survived by her son, Leon G. Miller, Jr. of Deerfield Twp.; a daughter, Dorothy A. Miller of Elmer; a sister, Margaret of Bridgeton; a brother, Kevin Jones of Fairfield Twp. and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Jones, Jr. and Frank Jones. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, July 29th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Old Stone Church Cemetery in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
