Obituary of Betty Jane Wood

Betty Jane Wood, 82, of Millville passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Lincoln Specialty Care in Vineland. The daughter of the late William A. Flanagan and Marion Clark Flanagan she was born in Dorothy and was the wife of William R. Wood. Betty had been a Millville resident for 18 years and had lived in Cedarville prior to that. A devoted member of Dividing Creek Baptist Church, she loved and enjoyed her family and also reading. In addition to her husband Bill, she is survived by nine children, William Nicholas (Betty Ann) of Millville, Jeannie Moris (Ivan) of Vineland, Michael Nicholas (Marianne) of Richland, Kathy Keller of Hopewell Twp., Edward Nicholas (Tracy) of Pittsgrove, Nancy Purty of KY, Richard Nicholas (Regina) of AR, Betty Jane Nicholas of Millville and David Nicholas (Carol ) of Millville; a sister, Anne Cleary (Martin) of Carne’s Point; a brother, William Gatti (Susan) of Voorhees and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children, Gilbert Nicholas and Linda Cole and a sister, Marion Morrison. Funeral services will be held at the Dividing Creek Baptist Church, 929 Main Street, Dividing Creek on Thursday, July 28th at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. Interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville.
