Ann R. Bonek, 81, of Rosenhayn died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Giorlando and Rose Mistretta Giorlando. She was the wife of the late Leonard E. Bonek and had been a lifetime Deerfield Twp. resident. Ann had previously been employed with the former Vineland National Bank and the Farmers and Merchants National Bank in Bridgeton. A deeply religious person, she faithfully read her Bible and was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church in Rosenhayn. She deeply loved her family and animals, especially her cats. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela A. Lesche and husband, George; her son, Leonard J. Bonek; two grandchildren, Jennifer R. Bates and George D. Lesche; two great-grandchildren, Isabella R. Bates and Jackson L. Bates and cousins, Barbara and Joseph Avena of Brooklyn, NY. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at The Parish of the Holy Cross, St. Mary’s Church, 732 Morton Avenue, Rosenhayn on Tuesday, May 10th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM prior to services. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rosenhayn. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. Written condolences may be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
